DMA 2019 – 2020
Information and Audition Material
Please read carefully:
For the 2019 – 2020 season of DMA, the beginner band will not start until January 2020. Therefore, for the first DMA (Sept. 13 & 14), only participants who have played an instrument in a group higher than beginner band in the previous DMA season or at MusiCamp will be registered to come and audition.
We are proud to host both the New York Staff Band and the Territorial Songsters for our Music Councils (Oct. 18 & 19). More registration and event info will be coming soon.
This year, both the Divisional Youth Band and the National Capital Band will be taking part in the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, CA on New Year's Day. In preparation, these two groups will rehearse at camp for two days (Nov. 1 & 2). This is not considered a DMA weekend, so no other groups need to be at camp.

In this packet, you will find the audition materials for brass, percussion, and creative arts.
BRASS – Come prepared to demonstrate any of the eight examples that you've worked on
PERCUSSION – Be prepared to demonstrate any of the Snare, Timpani, or Mallets excerpts
