April 11 - 13, 2025

Camp Rappahannock

We hope you'll join us for a packed weekend of celebration! DMA Ensembles performing, the annual Singing Company Competition, featured Solo Competition winners, the NCB Celebration Concert, Workshops, Clinics, Musical Guests, and more!

To register, visit AdminiCamp.com, create your account, and select the Music Councils option that applies to you. See Q&A below for all the answers to your questions!

For NCB Alumni, also visit the National Capital Band website to sign up for updates!

You must register using AdminiCamp.com. Once you have an account, you will select the proper Music Councils option (see example below). If you are a DMA participant that is housed at Camp Friday night, select that box. If you are former member of the National Capital Band joining for the weekend, check the NCB Alumni box. If you are coming for Saturday only (mostly Singing Companies with their leaders) you should select that option. Leaders should check TSAMM AdminiCamp periodically to ensure the right people are in the right place!

example:

-Registration closes March 28th, next Friday.

-Only those participating in DMA or a Singing Company need to register, under the correct option!

-DMA participants are staying on camp Friday night. They must choose this option on AdminiCamp, or they will not have housing.

-If a DMA participant is also competing in the Singing Company Competition, they’re already covered; they only need to select the DMA option.

-All Singing Company Competition participants and leaders that are arriving Saturday morning (those that aren’t in DMA) need to register for that category on AdminiCamp. As official participants they will receive a Music Councils shirt, but note that they will wear their Junior Soldier uniform (or equivalent) for the Saturday Competition.

-Family & friends who are coming to watch the Singing Company Competition or NCB Concert on Saturday do not need to register.

It depends. Corps who register for Friday night housing (DMA participants, etc) will be billed $50 per person. This includes housing, meals, and Music Councils T-Shirt. Those Corps registering members for Saturday only (like Singing Companies competing in the competition, etc) will be billed $25 per person. This includes meals and Music Councils T-Shirt. Individuals should be registered for one selection or the other; not both!

All NCB Alumni and Guests who are traveling and finding housing on their own dime will have no charge for the Music Councils weekend, but must still register!

This event will be held at the the Camp Rappahannock Camp and Retreat Center:

21457 Happyland Dr.

Richardsville, VA 22736

FRIDAY Check-in & Registration: 2-4pm @ Parking Lot. (A meal will be served 3:30-4:30pm for your convenience.)

SATURDAY Dismissal & Canteen: 4:30pm (After NCB Celebration Concert)

*Cap Band Members should arrive after lunch on Friday for 2pm rehearsal.

Friday, everyone will wear their Music Councils T-Shirt with Jeans! When you arrive at Registration you'll receive your shirt. Put it on and wear it all day!

Saturday, everyone will be in uniform! The Singing Companies will be looking sharp for the competition, so we'll join them. NCB members should wear blue tunics throughout the day, only changing to red festival tunics for their afternoon performance.

Good question! Everyone will depart after the NCB concert on Saturday, around 4:30 or 5pm. Only the NCB members & Alumni will stay through Sunday. They will have a time of fellowship, worship, and celebration.

The schedule is subject to change, but here is the basic idea:

28 Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. 29 He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. 30 Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. 31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:28-31
